Holmes County Youth

The youth are an important part of the community, especially when it comes to our vision of creating a substance abuse free Holmes County. By encouraging our youth to be better leaders and role models we are encouraging them to bring about a better lifestyle and community life as they grow older.

Who We Are:

We are students attending both Hiland and West Holmes high schools who have decided to partner up with the Holmes County Prevention Coalition to learn new ways to lead a positive life and help others that want to do the same. Aside from the coalition, the schools each have an active SADD chapter. Standing for Students Against Destructive Decisions, this organization provides tools and ideas to prove that fun can be had without the use of illegal drugs and alcohol. By being apart of both of these groups it gives youth the chance to have opinions and concerns about our community listened to. It's empowering to have a voice and know that change is possible, amazing to see the ideas come to life.
